Manc bike show

Anyone going to the bike show this weekend at Manchester Central? anyone go last year and if so was it any good?

Planned to go by train and see what bargains I could get, need new boots and a few bits and pieces.

So anyone been?

I went last year and it was ok. Probably spent about 2 hours there. Parking is good for bikes nearby. The stunt show last year was amazing!

Good array of stands, but as usual a bit expensive to get in, food is your typical rip off, and the discounts are ok - but in the current climate, everything is so cheap on eBay and from online traders that the stand deals don't seem so great anymore.

Cheers Big Dan, yep it's £15 to get in but it's a day out. Also enjoy the bartering at shows "Mate, what's your best price on this".......etc.

I went last year, going again tomorrow. It's not huge but still worth going. With it being in the city centre as well the food prices aren't so much of an issue, as you can just nip out and get some grub if needs be (last year they would stamp your hand so you could get back in again).

I'm hoping with enough support it'll get better year on year.

Not sure what bargains are like though, wasn't shopping for anything last year, but this year wouldn't mind picking up a tailpack if I can.
