Anyone heading to Glastonbury, only 25 days to go. Last year was my first time, it blew me away & I swore i'd never miss another. Dance tent is rumoured to be 70's disco this year, so afro's, kipper ties & flares are a definate must. Laughing

Yup I'll be there. I went in 2000 and 2002, but missed last years. To be honest the line up this year doesn't look all that good in my opinion, but at least Rolf will be there. I know a load of people who are coming down from essex too.

Tell you what, I'll meet you in front of the Pyramid stage, Friday morning 9.30. I should be easy to spot, there's only gonna be about 70 000 watching the opening band!!! Laughing Laughing

Is anyone going to Wacken2004? Not quite glastonbury style but should be a good laugh and very cheap for 3 days, about £30 quid I think.

If all goes according to plan I will not be conscious then and I'm sure as hell not sleeping in front of the pyramid stage unless something goes horribly wrong. Confused

Can meet up at some point though, are you going down on the wednesday?

Meh, it;d still be fun I reckon. Always next year, although your food you get/ catch/ find/ make at Glasto is better than this hospital "food" if you can even call it food. Sick

Yeah, setting off as soon as my girlfriend finishes work on Wed, should get there around 7.30pm. Got a load of mates from down my way planning on being there for the gates opening, so I'll leave them to sort out the campsite.

Think we're gonna be at the back of the glade, nearer the hippies, same place as last year.

We'll be the opposite side of the Glade to the Other stage. Makes for good access to the stone circle etc. Apparently the Glade has been much improved from when I last went two years ago.

Glad to see a few going to Glasters! I'm going too!! Woohoo! Can't wait. I've never been before but I know it's going to be good. I went to the V Festival last year and that was a good laugh but I've heard Glasters is much better. I have busy month coming up. concert on the 18th, 23rd, Glasters on 25th then another concert on the 10th. Does anyone know of any money trees anywhere?

So any advice for first time in Glasters???

Remember where you put your tent. Razz

Is it the RHCP you are going to see on the 18th by any chance?

Haha... I know what you mean. Had no problems finding the tent in the V but my mate lost his car. He met us up there late in the night and parked anywhere because he was in such a rush. Took us two hours to find it at the end of the weekend!

Going to see the RHCP on the 23rd in Cardiff. Apparently James Brown is supporting them.

We're seeing the RHCP in London the week before Glastonbury.

So you'll be seeing James Brown twice then?

We normally take a gazebo to the festivals, makes finding the tents a lot easier, especially when your off your head. Laughing

Yip. I saw the Chilis last year and they were really good live. Hope James Brown will be good too. I'm sure it will be interesting! I'll be going to Glasters after work on Friday so I'm gonna find it hard to find the rest of my gang let alone my tent. That's if they put one up for me! If I can't I might just end up sharing with some hippie Karma

The first year I went me and a mate went down seperately from the rest of our group and never managed to find them. Just make sure you have some money for pay phones as the mobile networks often go down in the first couple of days.

When are your mates going down? To get a decent campsite it's best to try and arrive on the wednesday.

On the Wednesday? I didn't think they were letting people in until Thursday. Oh well. They'll all be in the Chilis concert on Wednesday night so they'll be heading down some time on Thursday. I think it's gonna be a nightmare to find them but I guess I'll have to make some new friends Smile

I might be wrong about them letting peeps in on the wednesday, will have to check, but I'm sure I've gone down then previous years. Confused

The best idea is to arrange somewhere to meet on say the saturday, just incase you can't find them. Say by the entrance to the stone circle at 12 midday or something, tis not worth trying to meet in the arenas.
