Well, your first stop is improving your spelling and grammar before you start with the workings of a modern engine!

I think he's asking how much should he tune his 50cc. Should he stop when he gets it to go 50/60mph.
As for why he's asking how much it will cost on a set date is beyond me.
Fact is its a 50cc thing, so you can spend an absolute fortune on getting it to go 50/60mph and all that it will achieve is it will make you a bit faster and invalidate your insurance as at a guess I think your only about 16 and failed your GCSE english exam.
Don't waste your money, if you must do something do the cheapest thing possible to get a bit more speed form it, don't go over the top and wait till your old enough to get a 125. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

Hi
Same engine as the RS50 so probably restricted in the same way towards the front of the exhaust. Take out the restriction (requires cutting the exhaust open , chopping the restrictor out and then rewelding it back together I think) and up the main get a size or 2 and on an RS50 you will indicate around 60mph. The RX50 will not be as quick due to the sit up riding position.
Doing any more than this will just be money down the drain, and will not gain you that much unless you make it very illegal and fit a big bore kit.
All the best

I derestricted a mates 2003 aprilia mx50, if your rx is a newer one it should be similar. Basically as keith said there's a large cone in the exhaust, on the mx the exhaust down pipe splits in half, the restrictor is between here but on my mates the bolts were welded round, probably just aprilia trying to make life more difficult. I just cut the bolts of with a dremel and had some new nuts and bolts handy for it and a new gasket, when the 2 parts come apart we were suprised at the size of the cone, we cut of most of it with a hack saw and neatened it up with the dremel to make the exhaust the right diameter as there was still some of metal round the edge. After taking the cone out acceleration improved significantly and top speed was about 55-60mph indicated, we were told by a aprilia dealer it's best to fit a front sprocket 1 tooth larger (from 12 to 13) as thats what its meant to have when full power, so we got one from sccc (chichester) and he lost some initial acceleration but gained middle range and top speed which was now 65-70mph (indicated of course ) but he was happy because restricted they have to be the slowest things about. ____________________
