Hey chums. Where do people obtain (obviously non-copyright Embarassed ) films and such from these days.

I've switched to BT today, and just found that the muddy funsters traffic shape torrents (they claim they don't throttle, but in the small print it turns out that excludes PTP).

I know people used to rave about newsgroups but does anyone use them anymore? If not, what is the new kid on the block?

Ta in advance

ukbay.org

I'm with BT and they throttle P2P like mad.

You can get past it if you use Bit/UTorrent.

Goto Preferences > Bit/UTorrent > Protocol Encryption > Enabled or Forced

Tick Allow Incoming Legacy Connections.

Set Upload Speed to Unlimited.

You should be good to go, I'm getting about 8MB/s currently.

Ah right, cheers Alf (sorry The Artist) - didn't realise there were ways around the throttling.

Hey,
Can't you use a seedbox?

Download your torrents using the Seedbox then transfer your files from the Seedbox to your PC.

Someone said feral Hosting were good....

Cheers,
Shaun.
