I can appreciate the process and thought gone into doing it, but I actually preferred it right at the beginning when it was just black with a bit of purple over the top. Each to their own though hey!

I really wish my Dad hadn't knocked down his spray booth to build an MOT bay, yeah I get free MOTs but the spray booth would have been much more fun!

Not bad! lot of time to do that im sure... Just re-did mine with a satin black rattle can, with a 2k lacquer finish.

I've discovered lacquer needs to be sprayed completely differently to normal spraypaint. You have to go quite close and lay it on thick, otherwise it just doesn't cover enough.

Mine doesn't look as good as that though!

Tempted to just sand my "blue" helmet down and spray it matte black with cheapo poundland shite as the helmet is looking worse for wear haha, it gets shoved in the locker at college and battered about.. the lacquer is peeling off it cus of the doors on the locker being a bit narrow etc
