Pretty shitty situation for the guy to be in. As he looks older, and is bigger than the girl, so much as a scratch on her and he'll be made into the evil nasty brute who attacked a poor defenceless girl....

It does beg the question, if we look down on men hitting women due to the physical strength disparity; why does a meathead beating the shit out of a skinny guy have nowhere near the amount of stigma that a skinny guy beating a woman has.

I find videos like that hard to watch, but it shows everything that has gone wrong in society.



I'll tell you a little story, I was out on the town at Christmas and was introduced to a friend of a friend who is a cage fighter (doesn't look it, only a small chap, nice chap and all). Anyway, later on in the evening a girl tries to steal his full beer bottle out of his hand, he refuses to let go and she goes ballistic throwing several punches at his face (the girl was taller than the bloke is that's sets the story).

His (cage fighter's) mates but in, stop the girls rage (he has not retaliated at all), and he's covered in beer including being hit over the head with another beer bottle by the girl (luckily didn't smash). My mates tell bouncers, and she leaves (not sure if told to leave or not).

Now, this guy is raging like fuck inside (if I were in his situation I would have probably gone home). He doesn't show it, that I notice anyway, and continues the night.


On leaving the club (I had left by this stage, so didn't see what was coming), he spots her with all her (both male and female) friends down the road. He goes up to her and hits her so hard she is clean knocked out lying in the road - her male friend steps in throws a punch, and is knocked out with one punch, he continues challenges all the others who, in shock, step back.


Now, this I still can't decide how to take it. The girl totally deserved what was coming to her. The bloke (the girls friend) was innocent, and just protecting his friend, so that was wrong. But this was full on blatant assault (GBH), which really should invoke a prison sentence in my mind. It probably involved the police/ambulance, not that the culprits stayed around to find out.
