No tax or SORN

Just a quick question, I've had my GPz for over a year now and not once have I been reminded about tax or SORN, and was just wondering if since it was listed as a cat C write off, does it still need to be SORN'ed? Is it a little loophole that until it's MOT'ed it will then show up on the system again as a road legal bike?

I sent the V5 off ages ago and there has been nothing said about it, so unsure if I should go to all the effort of pointing it out to the DVLA

DVLA are not obliged to inform you (the cunts). If still on a V5 then it still needs SORN or TAX.
You could call the fuckers and ask.
