You can ride quad bikes or trikes on the road. You’ll need to apply for provisional quad bike entitlement then take a test.

If you get a full car licence you’ll can ride quad bikes and trikes without taking another test.

there is a reason ive been trying to find out i have access to a big farm quad

but before the new law changes i couldnt ride it on the roads

seems like there is a way to do it now

I would not trust that answer at all. The amount of conflicting information out there about the new licence changes is ridiculous. That looks to me like a simple automated answer that needs a lot more detail.
