You could use blue, yellow, orange (or that red coloured stuff at a push) I wouldn't use it on my rims as it would tear feck out of the laquer/paint. If it's a clunker you're riding then why not? Just make sure you tie proper Snow-Chain Knots.
I don't ride in snow now as it is stupidly stupid and risks dropping an expensive bike on the deck.
If it was a Winter Hack then for sure it would have spare Snow Tires. ____________________ W-ireless A-rtificial L-ifeform L-imited to O-bservation P-eacekeeping and E-fficient R-epair |

Yes. It works.
Best if you can let some air out, wrap the rope then pump them up again so it's tight.
You just need maybe five turns round.
I have also heard of people using half a dozen big cable ties. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
