The PR2, or PR3 is a much better tyre than the BT045.
The 3's are supposedly the danglies in the wet, but on the road you won't be able to push them to anywhere near the limit to notice.
If you can get the 3's for say £20 extra, it'd be worth it. Any more than that, don't bother. The PR2 is a good tyre anyways.
I had a Pilot Road 2 rear coupled with a BT023 front and was overtaking people on full wets in the intermediate group at Oulton Park not long ago. The PR2 was really good, easy to slide and feel the limit and didn't let me down but the front tyre washed out on the brakes so I think I might try the PR3's next time to compare. ____________________ CBT Passed: 30/08/2009, Theory Passed: 31/08/2010, Mod 1 Passed: 6/9/2010, Mod 2 Passed: 13/09/2010. I've got PR2s on my Hornet, and my OH has PR3s on her Zephyr. Both are excellent in wet and dry conditions and seem to be hard wearing too. I'd recommend the Michelins - they'll be going back on our bikes when the old ones wear out that's for sure. |

Only tyres ive found iffy in the wet were Supercorsa's cos they have next to no tread.
Everything else has been fine on the road. Depends more on how you ride.
BT45's are good tyres ( about the only bridgestones i like ), but they are crossply, so fairly old technology. Good enough for elbow down on my old XJ600 though.
I doubt youll notice much difference between PR2's and 3's. Both very good. I would have them over the 45's just because they are more modern. ____________________ Suzuki GT250 x7------- Fazer 600------CB250RS------Aprilia Rally 70----- Bandit 600

I'm trying to find some PR3s for my GZ125, but I've never bought motorbike tyres before and I've got no idea where to get them. ____________________ The Old Apprentice |

Front tyre size: 110/80 x 16
Rear tyre size: 130/90 x 15
130 x 15" somehow I dont think you will find any decent tires in that size. I dont see any radials on here. Buy a jap 125, be stuck on chinese bias ply tires
