Anyone have issues on their iPhone with Facebook being slow?

My misses asked me to look at her 8gb 3gs as everything was really slow. It turned out the drive was completely full. I was confused by this as she had no videos, only 40 songs on it and next to no apps either. Looking at the usage on the phone the facebook app was 3.2gb in size!:S

There seems to be way of clearing it down without deleting and reinstalling the app, the base app is like 12mb.

Tried deleting the app and reinstalling? My Facebook app takes up 210MB, reinstalling it just now knocked it to 38MB.

30mb with a baseline of 20mb, although I rarely use it on my phone due to how dire the application is. It's slow. It loads slow. It's buggy. It uses way too many resources.

Seriously, I don't get how they managed to make the app so bad. It must take a conscious effort to make something run so badly whilst doing so little...
