It's a Varadero, a BLOODY VARADERO. Use the bugger, this is what they are for.

That is pretty. Chain is slack, obviously, but at least the snow is disguising that twisted subframe a bit.

lovely bike - needs a cover though, or a garage! I read a quote somewhere (can't remember where): "Only English people fill their garage with crap and leave their vehicle outside in the wet and cold."

Rode mine to work today and had to abandon it on top of a hill. Luckily the snow was slushy enough to clear a space on the pavement. Roads look fine now though so all good.

I would still ride it. I went to work on my ybr today, only got to the end of the driveway before i did a 360 on ice and landed in the middle of the road, bike on top of me. Damage to bike is a scratch on indicator lens and a 1 inch scratch on rear plastic.
125's like to be dropped! They just bounce back Laughing

Haha I used mine today, no problems whatsoever, only time the wheel spun was deliberate, spun it for about 100 yards going back up my street just for the fun of it, don't think I'd do it if it was as new as yours though, mines battered already so not too worried about dropping it the only thing I worry about is the engine casings, given the width of the bars I'd be surprised if the casings hit the deck though, only using it for neccesary commuting atm but once the snows a little deeper I'll go have some fun on it.

You had over 3k to spend on the dero, so your obviously not hard up, why don't you have a garage/decent shed for your bike?

My back garden is quite small and already has a shed but it's to small for my new bike. Ordered 3 cheapish covers off eBay. Doubt they will last that long. My last oxford cover was nicked off my bike at the train station!

my chain is a similar slackness, tightens up once you're sat on it so is about right. Mine's an older version than the OP's bike

I used to lock my oxford cover on when putting the disk lock on the front when parking it for long periods of time in the communal car park of my block of flats

park in my garden these days.

A medium Oxford cover fits my varadero nicely without the top box on
