using this headlight i will be able to use all orginal clocks, also goes with the green/black colour sceme.

made the mock up out of hard board but will be making the final parts out of perpex as will be able to shape them with heat. After a bit of research the seat unit is from a 2009/2010 ninja.

Yes, replace the hideous headlights with even more hideous headlights Laughing But I guess it does serve a purpose. I'd just be sticking a big round headlight on it.

not bought the headlight yet so gonna have a proper look, main thing is so i can still use the orginal clocks. Also done away with the rear hanger, made some brackets so the new panel will have something to bolt to. the body work really lets it down but looking into replacing the fairings.

i agree. those bricks don't look like they'll clean up easy. masonry paint with a repoint gets my vote.

Cool little project. Quite often see F series ZX6Rs coming up cheap as projects and might be tempted when I've sorted out my garage and can finally bash out my current projects.

If you want your rear shock to stay like that I would really recommend buying a rear hugger. Unless you plan on only riding it on dry sunny days (like those exist...).

I will also join the club of hating that new headlight you're buying. I would much rather get a single round, or square light. But each to his own. I love the rest of the work you've done...looks very slick.

firstly its a outbuilding and it doesn't bother me lol, secondly got my eye on a carbon hugger on ebay and thirdly no longer using that headlight got another that im gonna use

bit of imagination needed but will be gloss black, tinted headlight lense (green) and will be putting some leds to use as daytime running lights.

https://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o743/pitbiker1987/headlight_zpsee034663.jpg

with this can use my orginal clocks

Bleurgh.

But at least it serves the purpose of being able to use the original clocks.

another update, under tray made out of 5mm perspect took a while but managed to shape it, headlight fitted on custom brackets, clocks mounted, also had some material left so decide to make a belly pan.

https://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o743/pitbiker1987/482182_10151502260613363_98043556_n1_zps053e0325.jpg

think i will move the headlight down about 3/4" and make a mini screen.

next on the list is a bar conversion and to make them side panels

Christ this bike is ugly, I love the tail but then the fat front end and dodgy headlight unit isn't very nice, have you not thought about modding some fairing to match the tail unit?

Think somebody got a bargain at that price. Not really sure why people were hating on it so much.

Why the sale? Going to buy a different bike instead?

the rear end was such a hack job would have been a lot of work just getting it to a safe state. plus i traded it for a bike that owed me £200 so in theory £300 profit.

not sure if gonna get another bike atm think a new tig welder is on the cards.
