How much you guys think this bike is worth ? I am looking to buy it and was thinking what the maximum should be.

Had a new sprocket and chain by HONDA in October and replacement Fork Seals. Also has had new Tyres at the same time.
Along with a service, unfortunatly no history other than all the MOTS since the bike required one

Its a 1999 on a S plate with 11520 miles

Well assuming its around 2000 reg and about 9k miles its worth about 1500 quid.

It depends also what history it has on servicing, and what life is left in things like the tyres, chain and sprockets, and all other bits which just wear out.

No history of servicing at all?

Hmmm I wouldnt touch any bike without service history unless I could trust the source or it comes with some sort of warranty or was really cheap or in exceptional condition.

Well that would suggest it hasn't had a rebuild - in which case its due one.

So you think i should keep clear .... the only history they have is a whole bunch of recepits from Honda.. going back to 1999 but no service book .. its had normal stuff like oil, plugs and fork seals, and chain and sprocket.

ok, i managed to knock him down from 1600 down to 1270 in view of all your advice .. I took a friend down to help ride it back for me .. i hav not done my cbt yet Sad

We had to drive 65 miles back .... on the M25 .. My friend says that its a good little bike (since he has a Honda Firestorm) anyway only fault we found is that the forks need a good clean .. and may be just good tidy up, to may it look nice and oh paint the exaust up with high temp resistant paint.

Oh it is restricted though

Nice bike and price sounds good, and as its restricted it hasn't been trashed so should be good condition mechanically, but watch that forks seal, i just had to fork out alot of money to get my fork stanchions re-chromed as they were pitted and was making the seals go.
