Hi all first post here i was wondering if anyone can help i bought a second hand tbg hawk 303r had it for about 2 months... anyway it ran like a dream then one day i was riding long and the throttle felt a bit weird like the throttle was stuck and felt something wasnt right with the engine. I came off an A road going full throttle got to where i needed to go (on the way to a interview) this is where it all went wrong i started to slow down but the engine made a loud roar i normally slow down by the throttle first then the brakes. Then all of a sudden when i tried slowing down via the throttle it didnt work it started to speed up at this point i was panicking the road was little bit icy luckily this was before all the snow we have received so i started slowing down using the brakes and it still wasnt slowing down.

I ended up skiding off the bike onto the road luckily unhurt just a scuff i had to get to the interview so i started the bike one more time and i didnt even touch nothing on the bike it was going on its own accelerating quite strongly i cut the engine off this time. i walked the bike to where i needed to go hoping it would be okay after wards an hour after my interview i had to go on the bike again on some big roads so i was worried.

The bike always starts fine so i knew i was going to get off half way down the road i didnt feel comfortable it felt like it was going to off again so i only rode at 30mph i got home okay but felt worried to go out again. I knew i needed petrol and was running on empty my plan was to fill up after the interview i was thinking could this of been the reason?

I went off filled the bike up and it seemed to run fine for the little journey i made to the station back home tried going a little faster to see if it happened again and it seemed ok.

Making me think it was the petrol being on empty but the snow has been real bad here in the uk so i havent been out since the interview its been in the garage for 5 days i thought i need to try the engine again.

I started the bike up today got the engine warm and started throttling the bike i left it and noticed it was a lil bumpy leaving it alone. I started applying more throttle power and the roar i heard before came back and without touching any of the bike the engine is ticking off and accelerating on its own.

I want to go on the bike as i need to travel but i know its not safe im a complete noob to fixing bikes or actually knowing anything is it worth taking in for a serving.

Its a TGB HAWK 303R 125CC 4 STROKE i have no manual on the bike and there isn't any help online

If somebody on here could help me or knows what the problem may be i would appreciate the help...

sorry for the long story guys
