Varadero Number Plate Light

Hello all,

The bloke who had my Varaderp XL1000VA ('07) before me had bodged the number plate light back together by melting the plastic where he had snapped it (near the mounting bolts), with a soldering iron. After closer inspection it also appears that the wiring is utter shite where (I assume) he'd intended on running something from the live side and never bothered; leaving exposed wiring where he had planned on soldering something in.

I've been trying to find a replacement but I'm not having much luck. I've tried eBay, David Silverspares and Wemoto to no avail.

Would anybody happen to know where I could find one or if a light off another model such as a CBR would fit? I really don't want to go down the adhesive light route if possible.
