It's blue, and some of the bits are shiny. I had no idea. And hopefully the headlight will work better.

But I've now found all the REALLY grimy bits, and the spots of rust, and the bits that are supposed to be shiny but aren't! I have to clean those now!! Where will it end?! Rolling Eyes

Yeah, I think a trip to purchase a selection of cleaning utensils is in order! I've already got some chrome polish waiting though.

Will take some bigger pics once the bike is clean enough to deserve them!!

Although at least having only one bike means I don't have to worry about finding a pair. And my bike doesn't seem to turn up under the sofa covered in dog hair... Very Happy

Why clean it in winter? Confused

I clean mine in summer only, even then, it's a reluctant clean. Although, I wipe down my number plate every now and then, to avoid three points for dirty numberplate. Laughing

Mike, are you serious? You should clean your motorcycle/car/whatever more in winter than in summer if you are using it at least one day or so a week.

The reason for this is the salt/rain/ice/crap that gets on the roads can corrode cars/bikes really easily and the dirt just isn't good for your vehicle or it's paintwork and should be cleaned off pretty often.

Of course, if you don't give a darn about your vehicle, then feel free to leave it, but some of us actually care about our vehicles and don't want them ruined in a few years after being eaten away by road filth in the winter. Mr. Green!

Cheers! Thumbs Up.

Laughing I only paid £150 for my bike, and chances are the next MOT it's scrap. Hence not looking after it. Wink

And it's a 50CC fagped from 2001, which has never had a rebuild, so will need one soon as the miles are high.
