Might be a stupid question, but how fast are they?

+Is it true, that it's got a gear box that allows you to go from top gear to the 1st one with only one kick up?

Only if it has a cycle gearbox, only the cheaper engines have those.. Basically when you click up into fourth, click up again you go neutral, then kick up again you go first gear. Laughing

Mostly they are 1N234 Or 4321N.

Standard they will cruise at about 30mph. Scream at about 40ish depending on CC. If you have a look at the rear sprocket on his monkey and then look at mine you will see a massive difference.

Standard ratio is about 14t front with 47t rear. Mine I fitted a 17t front and a 32t rear. Or possibly a 34t rear with a 10" wheel.

So I'd see a cruising speed of about 55mph. Top speed of about 63 or 70 downhill. (125cc).

Yeah I know that. They wouldn't fit the other way though. I think it had something to do with the top box I had fitted. Doesn't make the slightest bit of difference though.

That's genious Shocked

There are lot's of situations while going through the town and there are tons of traffic lights, stop signs and so on, so the idea of going from the top gear to the neutral with only one kick is briliant. Although, what if the bike moves under load and you kick there neutral this way, instead of the top gear? Thinking

When I'm cruising and shifting gears up, I sometimes when I skip gears, check if there's 6th, so I'd basically, unintentionally, put there neutral when checking if there's the top gear. Quite scary Laughing

Errr what? Herpderpderp Laughing All I know is chap, is that a cycle box isn't for me. I prefer them as offroad bikes and a cycle box is annoying when you are ragging it.

If you mean when looking for fourth you might hit neutral instead then yeah, it's a possibility. You will get used to smashing it back down one again anyway. They do make great town bikes, although have fun keep chaining it up everywhere..

Laughing

Question, is DAX the same thing, just looking different?

I've seen one of those DAX hondas here, it's a 1975 ST50 for 1060GBP, which is money I'd never pay for a thing like that Shocked

Looks cool though, original link: https://www.motorkari.cz/motobazar/motorky/honda/honda-dax-st50/honda-dax-st50-493812.html https://img.motorkari.cz/upload/images/bazar/2013-03-3/1974438.jpg
