Looking for some leathers, and they seem to meet my requirements but I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has owned/worn them and more importantly been down the road on them?

Current jacket is the RST Stunt, basic jacket with shoulder and elbow armour. I was hesitant about buying as I always saw RST as a bit cheap but I've had it for 8-9 months and it's pretty good, I use it in all weathers. It is fairly water resistant and in light rain it's fine, anything heavy though and it's just a massive heavy sponge.

Had an off at 60/65 MPH and it had a much better time then me (apart from the mud), it has a few scrapes and scratches but no holes and nothing broke on it.
As soon as I can I am going to go get the matching RST trousers to go with it, would buy again and recommend.

Cheers, that's exactly what I was looking for. I'll probably get the trousers and jacket together this weekend.

Had 2 minor offs while wearing my rst jacket, one at 10mph and one at 30mph and there's are just a few small scuffs on it, barely noticeable. I'd highly recommend getting rst gear.

Owned RST Slice leather jacket, Slice leather trousers and Razor leather trousers. Never been down the road in them but I was confident they would hold up. Sold them to Conzar on here who had an off which got quite messy but they did their job.

I have RST Slice leathers. I came off at relatively slow speed (about 15/20mph) and you'd not know, there's not a mark on them. I think they're fairly decent.

I've got RST Slice 2-pc and Tractech R 1-pc and they're great.

RST leathers are used by the majority of riders in the British Superbikes and BSB's support series, so they must be pretty good!

I've just bought an RST Razor jacket (from Aff on here) and a pair of RST Cruz leather strides and I'm mightily impressed with them both. They piss all over the Dainese stuff I was using previously, in quality and features, and at full retail are less than half the price. Shocked
I got them at considerably less than full retail so I'm doubly chuffed. Thumbs Up Very Happy

I've had two RST jackets...

First was full textile, pretty waterproof, but didn't have it long to really test it. Threw myself up the road which pretty much destroyed it!

Second was a Textile/Leather combo thing. Again, pretty waterproof, as a jacket with zipped air vents can be.

Has performed well, it's now 7 years old and apart from a bit of fraying on the edges, it's still in pretty good nick...

Overall I've been more than happy with the price vs quality aspect of RST clothing.

They did their job up the point of this.

I've got an RST Rift leather jacket, which i believe is the model before the slice/razor jackets. Its great build quality, nice thick layer and good protection. Luckily havent had an off in it yet but it does inspire confidence Very Happy

Ive got the older style Pro Series and they are great apart from the leg stitching on one of the legs all came undone but easily repaired and the stitching wore through on the shoulder from a low speed crash.

Quality is great especially on the new Tractech and Pro Series which i will be upgrading to this year.

My RST textile jacket and trousers that I wear, are around 7 or 8 years old.

The metal tab on the zip of the trousers broke a couple of weeks ago, fixed it with a zip tie. The jacket has lost a little bit of waterproofing around the lower arms.

Other than that they're in like new condition. Not bad for gear that has been crashed in several times.
