I've seen something similar when I was a teen. We went to drink beer in a small park thing, that had woods and wildlife and stuff in (if you get what I'm on about). we went to the big hill where there's a monument and there was a load of people there too, adults, at night ...

I turned around and saw this HUGE golden semicircle in the sky and shouted out, everybody turned and ran over to watch it rise.
