For the benefit of the intellectually challenged, I'm the one in green.

I'll pass your comments on. Neither were planned, I just happened to be around mates who filmed me. The snake pass one was just part of a 900 mile journey, and only the 3rd day on the 10. The fact that I passed my workmate from a standing start doing 140 in around 300yds was purely because I was late for work, the 20 mile journey took 9 minutes. Feel free to send me links to your amazing videos...

okay some constructive criticism here...

This video: https://youtu.be/QRvaSsqfRwo

It is 2 minutes long...and for the 1st 1minute 20 seconds it is slow boring riding with nothing remarkable happening while all the time the camera is not great and some awfully distorted / crap music playing..

Then at 1:20 ish a bike goes sort of fast past a lorry...

It's just not interesting or anything that I'd want to watch.

Something to do on the bikes would be:
Go find a road on a nice sunny day with a half decent camera (go pro hero or something similar) film yourselves doing some nice corners, overtaking maneuvers and perhaps seeing if you can get your knee down.

This video wasn't anything special or interesting mate, just a bike going fast round a long sweeping corner which isn't hard.

As I said, it wasn't planned, just clips of me. Not interesting, not jaw dropping, just me.

And I hate the obsession with getting the knee down. It's harder and slower to corner dragging your knee on a road than it is to not do so. fact. The trackday schools all agree. The racers who do it are generally doing it at silly speeds, so what's the point in doing it at 30mph like a lot seem to do?

It's just fun!

Always exciting when your knee is dragging on the floor and you got to replace the foot pegs Wink

If biking was about riding 5 miles to a roundabout, then spending an hour dragging my knee and then calling into MacDonalds on my way home, I'd sell my bike.

Just watched the vids, first one is quite clear, I like it. But I really don't get why you would ride a 1000cc motorcycle and just not use it. The way you ride surely you'd be better off on a 500 or something? Much better on fuel?

See, that fella in the green jacket would be me. Cool Although there's a time and a place for it to be fair.

Err, it was me in green. I wouldn't want to race like a hero for the whole 900 miles.

I'll say it again, these aren't my videos, they're videos others took of me.

I thought it was too obvious, given my username and profile picture, plus other photos of my bike on here.

Knee down is a way of gauging lean angle.

On another note I'd make love to ZX10. Smile
