Idle speed - CBF125

Hi all,

The Haynes manual says the idle speed should be 1500 +- 100. Mine starts at 1600 but does fluctuate up to 1900, on occasion 2000.

Just wondering if this could be an issue or not? It's new and has only done 700 miles so far.

Does it do it ALL the time or only when cold and not warmed up properly?

I noticed it yesterday before my commute home. Then turned it on this morning for about 10 mins and noticed it for the duration. Obviously both times the bike was cold.

So should I take it for say a 30 min ride then check it?

On mine (which has now done 22'300 miles) it starts at around 2k when cold and settles down slowly as it warms up to 1500ish but the needle does bounce about a little, I'd say +/- 100rpm. Been like this since day one.
