Good evening BCF,

I bought a new laptop last Sat and it has just decided to break, great!

I can get a full refund from PC World (yes I know everybody hates them).

I am just wondering what their process is, is all the information and content of my laptop safe? It did have a lock on it however its never impossible to bypass them.

Thank you

PC World don't respect data privacy in the slightest (as Garry Glitter will attest to Wink ). If your drive has sensitive data on it and you're not ballsy enough to just hang onto it, put the drive in a sata caddy and zero it. Macs have the feature built in but it's easy enough to get a killdisk tool for windows too.
