Hello to you all I need some advice. My Bandit will not turn over and has no working electrics ie lights and horn etc after I disconnected the igntion switch from its housing when changing the yoke over for a polished one .
Rather than removing the fairing and tank to locate the ignition lock/switch connector i unscrewed the base of the igntion switch/lock to enable the yoke to be removed as the screws holding the lock in place were not easily accesible and were the tamper proof type and in bad condition when inspected on the bench after.
When reasembling the switch i had forgotten to disconnect the battery and the lights did flash as i was working out which way the contacts/switch went back in to the lock housing.

All fuses including the main fuse are ok, any advice would be appreciated . Confused

If you have not sorted yet, I reckon you might have a broken wire under the ignition barrel or around that Regon would explain no lights etc. If it was any other wires the bike would at least do something, either that or a wire running to the battery, wither way I reckon broken wire somewhere maybe from movement when replacing new part. Worth a check , hope it helps

This will likely get moved to The Workshop section, you'll get far more responses asking in there.
