Ok,here we go..so a year and a half ago I was charged with CD10,after an accident and was given 5 points on my provisional licence..since then I really have behaved..although I fucked up yesterday :/ on my way home on the bike I come to a lil humpback bridge on my little yamaha dt125 and as I cruised over it,my front wheel lifted, only a wee bit less than a foot high and only for a second..it caught me off gaurd I'm geussing I just blipped the throttle at the wrong point in 2nd,whilst traveling in the built up traffic over the bridge at 15mph first time i had been on the bike in ages as the weather has been shite, well the front wheel lifted as the police were coming the opposite way to me down the road and seen the front wheel lift, they then turned round blue lighted me and pulled me, the two copper's were saying its a wheelie and read me my rights and threatend me with another CD10,wich'd obviously mean no more bikes for me :/ so I decided to use my right to remain silent, and now the copper has arranged for and interview to be conducted on Wednesday 6th, so I have time to gather legal aid,my friend was there too and also thought the copper was being a bit extreme as it genuinely was an accident :/

What am I going to do / say or should I just take some lithium grease and plan for a massive raping from the long arm of the law?

Thanks.
Scott :/

Tell the police you hit something that made your wheel come up and you were in shock and as suprised as they were.

Fucking morons.

Wish I could accidentally wheelie...

At least you weren't speeding, I'd just play stupid.

Right to remain silent? No such thing in left-wing fascist Britain; it's now taken as an indication of guilt.

Prepare your anus.

Do you have a licence now (with New Driver's Act to worry about) or still provisional?

I accidental wheelied once with the weight of a pillion on the back, happens. I think Careless Driving would be a bit hard to prove, "Not in Proper Control" or something might have been better, and as I understand it, the punishment for that is less.

Don't admit to any fault in the interview as that's basically a confession.

Honestly mate, you are definately in for an arse raping. If us BCFers are calling bullshit - you think the coppers won't?

Plus, staying silent probably didn't help your case.
Plus the history of a previous CD10.
Riding a fairly chavvy bike.
You sound like a chav.

I think no more bikes for you tbh mate! But good luck though, i do hope you can convince them (and that isn't actually sarcasm).

Just tell them what you told us. \you were just as shocked as they were because your a new rider and you are still gaining experience. At no point did you wish to intentionally wheelie because you don't have the confidence nor what you thought was a powerful enough bike.

In truth DT's are fairly easy to wheelie so you just need to make it sound as convincing as you possibly can.

Deny everything. Don't accept a caution or a fpn.

It may get passed to the cps where it'll likely be dropped, because, well, there won't be a realistic chance of getting a conviction.

They would be hard pressed to prove a wheel lifting whilst going over a bridge was an intentional wheelie.

Even if they did get a sympathetic magistrate, you will only be 50 odd quid worse off than if you just accepted a fpn and points without going to court.

Thanks for your help shane, you reckon it would be wise to get a motorcycle solicitor/lawyer involved or even see if I could bring one along to my interveiw?

There's no point really, just use the free duty solicitor, if it goes further then look in to getting someone else...

Ah,no worries dude..dan bit uncalled for calling me a chav..im actually kind of offended by that remark, although at least i dont look like humpty-dumpty Middle Finger Laughing

I've been listing to Ironmaiden,acdc,Metallica,guns&roses,5fdp,rise against,kills switch,ledzep,Hendrix,nirvana,johnny cash,ratm,Rammstein,foofighters,S.o.a.d(rip),Nickleback..and many more.

so please don't call me a Chav it's rather insulting,I have a job simply because my dad gave me his records at like the age of 12,

plus you shouldn't judge people on the bike they ride I like dirtbiking & road riding so a Supermoto was the best solution for me.
