So over the last year I have been so busy with uni that my camera has been pretty neglected. I am forever wanting to go out with it but I always seem to have something else to be doing... Also with only having my bike for transportation it can be quite a pain in the arse to get anywhere with all my gear.

To make up for this I decided I would set myself a challenge, inspired by this thread I set about doing a photo 24. 24 hours, 24 photos.

The rules I set myself were that photos are to be shot every hour, on the hour, although I did give myself a 10 minute leeway on this after a while, and that all photos should follow a different theme.

I started at 0000 on Friday (after being up since 0800) and finished 0000 last night.

Here's the results!

Overall I didn't find it too bad, although I found I'm a touch out of practice! Also it's pretty difficult to stay creative when you're exhausted...

I like that idea, some really creative pictures there. Not sure if I could come up with enough ideas to fill 24 hours nor still awake.

Your camera sensor needs a clean, Most evident on your 09.00 picture.
You got some nice shots though, Favorites are 00.00, 09.00 and 18.00.

Photo 48 or 72 next time yeah? Laughing

Good work chap.... Managing to make Pompey look even vaguely picturesque is as much of challenge as staying up for 24 hours Laughing

It also helps that cameras don't record smells and anyone who's been along the Eastern Road at dawn knows I'm not just being facetious.

OP, some really nice shots there.

It's a streetlight right outside the window, coupled with a 10 second long exposure, I left the curtains open to light the room or you only would have seen the alarm clock.

Cheers for all the comments guys!

You're right, about Eastern road n'all!
