Bit of a weird one but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way of finding a previously owned bike.

I had a Honda 250 RSA in '81 that I bought brand new. I have no idea of the registration number except it was a 'W' suffix (1981).

If there is a way I'd like to track it down somehow.

Any ideas?

If you had the reg number you could check on the DVLA site to see when it was last taxed etc/still on the road to give you an idea.
Without the reg number you're fucked, the PNC can show previous vehicles owned at a particular address but IIRC that option wasn't available in the 1980s plus you've got no legal way of obtaining that info.

https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/honda_cb250rsa

According to this there are only 52 left on the roads, 72 on SORN.

If you look at the years tab:

https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/honda_cb250rsa#!firstreg

There is only 1 on SORN from 1981!

So if that one is yours I'd be very surprised.

Most figures on the site are way out so don't give up hope yet.

Like mini metro, L. 57 on the road 84 sorn.
MG B GT 8934 on the road, 6426 sorn.

Likely?

Website is wrong then! I know of two other E3s that are currently on the road, one in Stafford and another in Birmingham - both belong to friends of mine. There is also one currently for sale on ebay with tax and MOT in the cambridge area.
Just thought i would mention it...like....y'know......
