Forgive me for posting on here but this man needs our help . Branko was badly injured at this years TT. He is from Holland but still in hospital in Liverpool. His family are spending a fortune visiting and obviously he is not earning. These guys are heroes who give us great entertainment.

I am not raising the money or using it. The guy has punctured lungs , fractured pelvis, brain injury among others. If you want to donate do , i did . If not fine. If you are suspicious look him up. Personally i think these guys are the future of the event . I should think its fun trying to get life insurance for TT riders. Just thought every little helps.

I know it sucks, but he went on TT freely and knew what could happen, therefore I think that what you're trying to do is really not going to make people ''pay'' for someones mistake. It's like you were raising money for a guy who jumps from one roof to another for living and one day falls down of. Punctured lungs , fractured pelvis, brain injury, well nothing that could money make any better.

Call me heartless bastard, but that's what we all are, some of us are just too kind to tell. Thumbs Up

And there's me thinking people who hurt themselves whilst having a jolly do so without the requirement for me to put my hand in my pocket.

I donated to this cause.
do you guys never watch the TT races??
I know, they do it and know the risks involved.
But this guy has had a very serious accident and his friend is asking for some help.
Because he`s over in a Liverpool hospital, his family are having trouble travelling, with costs.
Can you not contribute a tenner, " couple of beers" to some, in the pot and try and help out??

Maybe I`m saft, but when a biker is in need of some help, who else can we turn to, Nobody wants to know us when we get injured, especially on the road.

I`l bet some of you contributed to Joey Dunlops charity, because you know of him, Maybe we dont know this guy, but he`s still a human being needing help.

Find myself agreeing with both sides on this one.

I don't watch the TT because it would make me wee in my slippers.

But if I did watch and enjoy it, I reckon I'd want to dig in my change purse for the guys who have been entertaining me, even if that's not why they're doing it.

Hmm, I think I might have caught the emo. Thinking

With all due respect and best wishes to the guy - as others have said its argueably a lot more 'self inflicted' than many other accidents.

And because of that and the fact there are many other very worthwhile biker charities helping who i would argue are 'less fortunate', i'd rather give the money i can spare occasionly to those charities personally.
