Boing!

Boing! is a miracle plastic invented in 2101. It is stored as a liquid in an aerosol can, and is sprayed onto the user, where it solidifes and expands into a bubble surrounding the user like a zorb ball. The solid form of Boing! is extremely bouncy. The user can safely jump off a great height, such as a tall building, bounce up again without injury, and continue bouncing until the Boing! sphere runs out of kinetic energy. As this is extremely hazardous outside, it is only permitted indoors in licenced premises such as the Palais De Boing, with unauthorised use carrying a penalty of twenty years. Boing! has been used successfully to trap the indestructible undead Dark Judges, and the Mega-City One Justice Department keeps reserves of Boing! in its armouries in case they escape.

Not really RS.
From user reviews it seems you can set it up both ways:

1.
I installed this and followed the instructions. I used the remote feature, and turned it on, but I cant get it to disarm. Everytime I get close to the bike, it knocks me across the room, and my hair smells funny. Im also getting this uncontrollable twitching in my leg. It works good though, the neighbors cat came by yesterday, and last time I saw it, it was running around in circles in their front yard, and its whiskers were smoking..

2.
though wiring it up was a bit of a pain, once i had sorted the inline dylithium crystal fuse (15amp) and set the clock to "here+now" (i had it on GMT so it kept putting the lights on - thinking it was 8 hours later) - it was easy from there.
However... having entered the sphere i stupidly left the instructions OUTside! now i cannot exit!!! am sending this message from my cell phone. please send help - am tired and hungry and desperate for a bathroom!
