I have tried using my car NCB and i am afraid insurance companies will not accept them for a bike policy. I actually set up bike insurance using my car NCB and thought nothing of it, but when i sent off my proof of no claims, they phoned me up and said i cant use them I had to cancel my policy and insure my bike through someone else...
What was even worse was that i couldn't change my 125 policy to a 600 when i passed my full test and got a bigger bike Had to start my no claims again which was a right pain in the arse |

I'm sure when I was using the bike insurer website, it had a option to enter in Car NCB.
Also when I changed my bike after passing my test, they verified my Car NCB was still current when updating the records
So the option is out there |

Thanks everyone .
Found a few places that ask for how many no claims I have for my car, but no idea if it makes a difference.
My quotes would be around £400 if I could . ____________________ Snow rider wrote: I'm far to annoying to be near for long periods of time |
