Hi guys and girls,
Noticed this morning Ive got a very small chip on my tank.
Dont want it to come away any more, so was thinking of putting a dab of clear nail polish over it.
Do you think this will be sufficient enough to stop it from further chipping away on the edges?

I would say, probably. I'd be more worried about it rusting. I have a couple of tiny dents in mine, which I'm going to treat the same way as you've suggested.

I foolishly spent nearly a tenner on 'Ducati Touch-Up' paint.
Almost matches the Honda. Rolling Eyes

Good call on the clear varnish.

You'll have to put those little foam bits between it's toes so they don't smudge or stick.

Nail Varnish is perfect as a fix.
Clean the chip with nail varnish remover to remove polish then touch it up.

Its only a tiny chip about 1-2mm, but the under colour is red where as my bike is dark blue, so it really stands out.
Did it today when I some how dropped my keys into my crutch and one caught the tank Sad

Gonna clear varnish it then stick on a tank pad (knew I should have replaced the old one sooner)
