Or just use a Decent browser like Mozilla or firefox
If you like IE download crazy browser, it's just an add on but blocks all popups and adds tabbed browsing |

Or you could simply use Mozilla as your internet browser which has a built-in pop in blocker, to which i have never recieved a pop-up.
Download Mozilla for free from : www.mozilla.org

If you are running XP home or Professional a new Service Pack is due to be released this month, Service Pack 2.*
This is coming with loads of upgrades, the most notable are the Internet Explorer pop up blocker which every other browser already have! Also the Firewall that is preinstalled with Windows XP only protects information going in, so Service Pack 2 upgrades the Firewall to stop malicious information going out.
*IMPORTANT* Never run two or more firewalls at the same time - this causes conflicts between the two. Personally myself I shelled out £50 for Norton Internet Security 2004, which comes with a brilliant Firewall, Spam Blocker, Ad Blocker and the awesome Norton Antivirus 2004.
* To download Service Pack 2 go to Windows Update. Make sure you already have Service Pack 1 installed. Estimated download for Service Pack 2 is about 150MB - Sounds big but if you have Broadband, it wont take too long. However you can get given a CD free from www.microsoft.com.
These srvice packs are important they fix the many holes that are within the Windows XP Operating System.
