I have just brought myself another bike, decided it was time to let the 50cc CPI GTR go and go for something with a bit more power. I do a lot of dual carriageway riding and don't feel very comfortable on a scooter which will only do 45 at the best of times.

I was going to get something like a Honda CG125 following the advice of a member of the forum who also happens to live close to me (TheSmiler) but this Sanya SY125 came up for a bargain price which I couldn't turn down. It is only temporary until I am 19 in July and can pass my riding test to buy a bigger bike with abit more poke.

What do you think I should do once I get this bike? Service? Spark plug ect?

Looks pretty tidy. For the cost of a litre of 10W40, I'd change it. Clean out the filter under the 24mm nut on the lower LHS of the engine. If it's still got a Torch or other joke brand plug in it, fit an NGK D8EA. That's really all that I'd do, plus regular maintenance and cleaning: you won't get back any money that you put into it.
