Just wanted to warn people about PA motorcycles. I bought my last battery from them. To cut a long story short, they sent me a Dynavolt battery despite ordering a Motobatt, but left Motobatt on the invoice. The battery failed, I have no proof of purchase of the Dynavolt because Motobatt is on the invoice. The seller refuses to answer my emails, closes my return requests on amazon and his telephone number is a dud (constantly 'engaged') and his website has no information on it. Despite this, he continues to trade on Amazon.

Despite buying through Amazon there isn't much they seem to be doing much to get the issue resolved, despite the situation being are with their guarantee department, and seller feedback department.

Bottom line is I have been forced to buy another battery despite the original item still being under warranty. He has completely done me over.

I am also reporting him to trading standards.

The seller's Amazon profile is https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aag/details/ref=aag_m_ss?ie=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=0&isCBA=&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&orderID=202-2993398-7115519&seller=AM9QISXFZ59K7#aag_legalInfo
Website is https://www.pa-motorcycles.co.uk/
Phone Number: 01283 585870

This person is also trading on eBay under the name of 'into bikes' - https://myworld.ebay.co.uk/into-bikes/

How long did you have the Dynavolt. You say it failed so I assume you used it... which is a dick move.

Ironically, its a sealed battery! And I have no transport because the bike is without a battery!

I wouldn't do anything like that anyway...

The situation is a little more complicated that that unfortunately. When I purchased it, I waited for 3 weeks, received no battery. Courier had apparently damaged it and he only had the Dynavolt in stock to send as a replacement. I just wanted to get the bike back on the road after not having it for over a month and he sent out the Dynavolt instead.

Indeed, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I just don't want anyone else to have to deal with this person.

Nice find - thanks. I'll update my posts to reflect this.

The first battery was OEM, over 10 years old when it failed.

I had dealings with him via his ebay store, never, ever again. Can't remember what it was over now as it was a few years ago, but it left a bitter taste in the mouth.
