Could be good if you put a crash cage on it. Thinking
Though in all seriousness, it doesn't look too bad.
I'm curious as to where did the other clock went.

That's the good thing about bikes... It's whatever floats your boat. Does little for me, though.

I wouldn't worry about that. After all, you've got plenty of expirience replacing parts Wink

Arrange the viewing and check it out?

Reads better than "28 year old grey import, doubtless crashed, likely written off, all valuable panels stripped and replaced with random parts and paint, will cost you more to insure honestly than to buy".

Much like its current keeper, I'd like to try it, but probably not own it.

Those forks must be wrong for that bike. They look far too long. Its a slabside GSXR so it has a low tech cradle frame and tyres will be difficult to find for those odd sized rims. You'll find tyres, but no doubt they'll be crossplies so the stickiest rubber you'll find is a BT45.

Its also got mismatched panels, and is a 400 so therefore should have a fairing and clip ons. If you want a streetfighter, buy a streetfightered 1100, if you can afford the insurance.

The thing is, on that bike... if the cosmetics are bad then the mechanicals are probably going to be terrible too. If you buy it expecting it to be a reliable daily ride, then you are probably deluding yourself.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

It looks like it's been ravaged by someone with OP's riding ability, U_W's sense of aesthetics and access to a breaker's yard.

Translation,

I paid £719 for the bike just over a month ago. It is a dog, and I want to get my money back, so I'm going to rip someone else off.

Laughing
Good point

Yeah seems like a bad idea
I do like the way it looks though for some reason, and I don't like streetfighters usually

Saying that bikes always look better in pics

That's a GK71, and surprisingly they are the right forks.

You're right about everything else though, the whole bike flexes like cheese and is generally less fun to ride than a piece of dog poo with a lawnmower engine attached.

Have seen that front fairing/headlight before on ebay, it's cheap tat and I think it looks undersized on that bike.

Not for me, and I quite like ugly bikes.
It just looks like its been built from left over bits. It would look much better if it was one colour. Matt black might work.
