I am sure there is this topic been on here before I just couldn't find it.

Just done a quote on the bike I am getting tomorrow (Sanya 125) I am 18, working as a doorman with 1 year no claims on provisional license.

There was plenty of cheap quotes but the one I am going for is -

Third Party. Including breakdown cover (RAC), motor legal protection, personal accident cover and helmet and leathers cover. For only £287 up front or £365 monthly instalments (£30 deposit and £30PM for 11 months)

Is this reasonable? What is your insurance?

Cheers,Ash

On par with what I paid at 19/20 for the CG125.

Currently paying 225 quid TPO for the CB500.

Paying monthly is for muppets.

Yeah that's a reasonable price. I paid something similar when I was 20 (and insurance was cheaper back then).
