One thing to remember - if somebody asks if they can have a go, kill them, kill them hard with a stick.

Very nice though, i'd suggest some crash mushrooms at the first chance you get to put on them... and spend some money on a manual and learn to maintain it, that way you will find out about things going wrong before they happen, 60mph slideing on your arse down a country road is not the time to realise your chain needed adjusting Razz

Have fun Very Happy (not too much though its unhealthy)

exactly, i would be very weary of derestricted bikes, but then it might have been re restricted?

i'd personally keep it that way for a while, will be less likely to go bang, which (by the looks of it) your not going to be able to afford it doing!

Just make sure to service it reguarly (doing it yourself will save you a tremendous ammound is REALLY not difficult) and top notch 2stroke oil Thumbs Up (i'm sure somebody could suggest some)

2 strokes work better when they're thrashed generally I believe.

Not thrashing them seems to clog stuff up.

When I first got my rd350 it felt a bit 'heavy' accelerating; the previous owner said he never got up to the redline Exclamation. After riding it properly for a couple of days it seemed to rev much more freely.

I got mine today and its still completely restricted. It wont do more than 60mph. Mines just had a rebuild so i need to run it in for a good 200miles before i even think of de-restricting it *yawns*

But the bike looks sweet Cool
Love the paint scheme, makes it look so much bigger than it actually is!

Shoulds do around 75~80 true top speed even when restricted (and that means rather more on the clocks). My Futura managed 85mph indicated when restricted before the full power kit arrived.

But don't try to prove this until it is run in.

All the best

Keith
