Police left me a voice mail regarding bike.

Had 12 voicemails so decided to listen, one was from kent police asking me to phone them to answer a few questions regarding my zxr streetfighter i recently sold, voicemail was from back in january, i called them up and told them id sold it so they asked for info about the new keeper, i gave it to them and they said that was all, i asked why and they simply said they just need some information about the new keeper.

At the time of thevoicemail i was the keeper of the bike.
Anyone have any ideas?

It had tax, mot v5 and insurance, i did get pulled over at the start of january and they couldn't find the engine numbers to match them up but the police where blind as i found them that day and they match up.

Usually its cos the new owner (keeper) has got into trouble with them about something, I had that with someone who "promised" he would send the paperwork to the DVLA and never did. The bike was seen getting up to mischief. I wasnt really sure of the person who bought it as my bloke dealt with it for me.

I had a business card and could only give the filth scant details, but they seemed happy enough with that, although they did nag me that I should put the paperwork in with the DVLA myself - cos apparently if your name is still the registered keeper, then technically you are still liable for what happens to it (or some other old load of plod-chat)
