suppose if your gonna have a puncture 5 minutes from a dealer is a good place to have it.. Neutral

Why the dual sport helmet? Does it not get on your nerves touring on a naked bike with one of them?

You'll have to take my word for it as I didn't stop to take photos but I've just had a great ride over to surprise my mate on his birthday.
Cheshire-Derbyshire-Yorkshire and back for afternoon tea and scones.

Was going to take the Duc but there's a stretch of road I know that was perfect for the MV. Infact the MV is fast becoming quite an all-rounder if it wasn't for the 100mile per tank thing.

Here's Sean and Gordon....guess which one likes to roll in poo.

I decided to give my bike a bit of a shakedown. Bed in the tyres and adjust a few things here and there with the controls. Went for a play in the Cotswolds as per usual!

Did the little lane that goes down to Seathwaite, primarily to check out parking for future walks.

Was supposed to be a bike day, but got sucked in by the paths again Embarassed

Spent 11 hours in my garage yesterday achieving feck all except covering myself + garage in petrol.

So met up with Wots + Helen for some morning sausage at Rykas.

Not overly busy. On the plus side, queue for food minimal.

https://i1329.photobucket.com/albums/w559/pigeon35/160829%20-%20Beachy%20Head/20160904_120708.resized_zpsnd1u3srr.jpg

Then down the A24 to the A272 and Petworth and back to Guildford via the backroads around Dunsfold which are fantastic for smaller bikes.
Not far, about 70 miles.

Had my first proper ride out on the er6f today and headed out to Welsh Wales boyo.

Realised that I've lost a bit of confidence with not riding for a few months, mixed in with never being let loose on a bike that can go into triple digits before, not that I did anything like that of course. Shifty

Went around Snowdonia and then got lost for a while. Found Snowdonia again and managed to take the correct road home. Managed to use just over two and a half tanks of fuel, which is a hell of a lot more than I've been used to on the 125's.

Here's a couple of pics:
