Cheers for that. Couldn't justify £350 on the Arai Tour so been looking at others. Plus the sun visor must be a bonus

I have been to langley today. Stopped into breakers and grabbed some mirrors, hoping new ones come tomorrow that look nice, but for £3, eh, they do the job!

I passed a lovely sounding road.

https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8088/8599562037_2e42e1d979_c.jpg

I wondered if there should be significant green appearing out there yet...

https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8235/8599562491_99c8ed526b_c.jpg

I saw a nice carving on a bridge.

https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8106/8600663470_5b2ba605f1_c.jpg

Then I was ready to go home.

A nice contrast to the above pictures Laughing

Went to a green lane near the Derwent Reservoir in Northumberland, didn't expect that much snow as it was sunny when I left the house. Bring on summer, I've given up on spring, it doesn't exist. Had a few close calls in the snow as you'd expect but as luck would have it within a minute of my house an old codger pulled right out in front of me, totally oblivious to my existence Mad

that road is 1 cage wide and trees to the edge. What happens when cages come across each other? how do they get passed? and what about blind corners?

They crash. Thumbs Up

Honestly, theres an issue with people bombing around tight lanes in some areas of Britain. Some of the roads in Windsor were insane. Especially to a city lad like myself where at least people stick to their side of the road.

Around this area though you do get some passing points where the road gets a smidge wider, or you get muddy open patches to the side of the road. This also leads to the inevitable situation where half way between passing points 2 twats in 4x4's refuse to yield and reverse for an oncoming vehicle.

You might also be surprised to hear therefore, that all those types of roads carry a 60mph limit.

Thought it was 50mph for a single track? Either way, I rather like our national speed limit roads, it's not often you can't safely do the speed limit in this health & safety age.

Well the idea is you ride/drive to the conditions so that shouldn't happen but if it does I suppose you'd swerve to your side of the road and hold on tight Thumbs Up These NSL roads are the last little bit of freedom we have, it's up to the rider to decide what speed is safe instead of a stupid sign. Not that in the country side pay will pay attention to signage, but most are respectful and at least do the speed limit through villages, I always do anyway, then as soon as you see the NSL sign you go as quick as you are comfortable with and watch out for rozzers hiding at the side of the road.

Went on the Bikewise Easter Egg run in Durham today. It was a bit boring. Ok quite boring but charity etc. I think 50% of the riders had Bandits Razz
