Just popped out on some local roads, visited a mate for a large cafeteire brew then roared around some previously quite local villages, much to the annoyance of the residents.

I had Leo Vince ones on my Stripple.

I loved the look and they sounded awesome BUT even with the baffles in it got a bit wearing after a long ride. I dread to think what others thought of the noise. Laughing

They are indeed SP.
Well they're considerably louder than the originals with the baffles in.
It's a rawty sound, not unbearable but earplugs are recommended.
Baffles out is a hoot. Very loud so earplugs are mandatory. Some of the sound range you can feel in your chest like a really banging sound system but the pops and burbles on the downshift are lolz.

Planned day. Hooned down to the Filling Station cafe in Keswick for the usual bacon butty. Then along through Borrowdale, looking stunning in autumn colours, and up to the Honister Pass. Parked up, got changed, locked everything to the bike, and slogged up to the top of Dale Head.

Then down and along Littledale Edge, branching off for Hindscarth summit.

Hindscarth was feckin windy.
Better put some bike shots in I suppose Mr. Green

Took a ride out to Brean with Fretgrinder this afternoon. Stopped for coffee at Brean Down National Trust cafe,
then for a pint about a mile up the road. Didn't take any pics.

Whilst at the pub I realised the sun was setting and I'd have to get home sharpish cos I had my black visor lid on.
Me and Fretgrinder parted company at Weston as he was caught at a roundabout traffic signal that I would have
had to do an endo at to get stopped before the red light so I pressed on given my must get home before dark mission.

Only just made it. Within 10 mins of being indoors it was fully dark.

Nice one Mr Fret, unexpected late season sunny ride. Thumbs Up

Jaffa cakes can do that to you Laughing

There were a couple of places along Littledale Edge where the path is right next to (and I mean less than inches from - edge of path->nothing) a very steep, long drop. I took some snaps looking down, but can never seem to capture the effect on camera.

Best I could do:

Managed to grab a quick snap.

Good ride was good. Highlight of the journey was opening up the warp gate on a long bumpy straight near Brean.

Had a bit of trouble knowing if my bike was on or not if I was sat next to Grr666, his Akrapovic can was drowning me out Laughing

Laughing If I didn't someone else would have... Oh and we saw a woman who had clearly just hit someone up the arse
do it a second time right in front of us. Laughing There was an ambulance on blues which we allowed past us, it arrived on
scene just ahead and in full view of us. As it pulled up alongside the car, there was a big bang and she smacked the
same car up the arse AGAIN!!! I can only guess she was sitting there still with the engine running and in gear presumably
while she waited for emergency services?? Must have been on the gin all afternoon. Daft cow had schoolkids in the car
with her too. SMH. Old bill arrived as the lights changed, glad they had to sort that pantomime out and not me.

Guildford to Camber Sands and back. 230 miles.
Roads fairly quiet and trees well on the turn in places.

CoPilot phone app was being a dick, got lost, found some brilliant roads.

Sausage and Chips at Camber, a few laps and back home.

I bought it in 2012 and its been my wingman for 80k miles.

Over the years, its sometimes taken me down some strange routes, got a bit confused about whether I should be turning left, right or around 15 times in 100 meters. But on the whole, I thought it great.

Could design routes on my PC using free app RouteConverter just because a road looked twiddly. Upload to CoPilot and then didn't have to worry, headups and fire towards the horizon.

But over the last 2 years, its got progressively worse and worse. Features stopped working. App itself just stops navigating (with no warning if you're on audio only as am).

I continue to use it, but now try and remember the rough route so I avoid going 20 miles past a turning because the thing has packed up and I had no idea.

Had a day off so pootled about the local area. Covered 128 miles but didn't actually get further than 30 miles from home.

Been a while since I rode the GSXR, forgot how fast it was. Probably be the last time it gets ridden for a long time now as I'm planning to pull her apart and tart her back up to her former glory.

Finally took my bike in to Ducati to get the heated grips fitted yesterday.

Got a scrambler loan bike which was hilarious fun - looks great and is super lively in town but a bit exposed once you pick up speed!

Had a great fried breakfast, sun was shining, and heated grips are great. Great start to the weekend.

Sunday morning after a night of jaeger, fireball and gin cocktails Sick time to go home and Petes KTM decides its having none of it even after charging from the bmw's and Adams 9R, looks to be a issue with the starter motor, not good for a 4 year old well looked after bike Neutral

Excellent weekend and great company, shame the 750's been off the road with 'severe lubrication issues', would have like to take it.
