 |

Some of you helped out with suggestions for sub £1000 bikes for if I get "can you start next week" as a response from job interviews, at which point I need to swap my Varardero for something I can commute on motorways.
However, I find myself really really wanting an ER6f (preferably in blue) and wondering how much I should be looking to pay for one.
Might be able to cope long enough on the vara to be able to get straight on one / get something to cope for a month or so.
Also, anyone got any experience of restricting them to comply with the 33bhp legislation?

Hi not seen a blue one until i just googled it If its fuel injection you get then the restriction is a throttle stop (screw) and a plug that fits in a socket located under the seat which i think is just a link wire..Thats on my 2011 model
Kawasaki charge like 150 + for this little screw and plastic plug which takes about 5 mins max to fit hopefully you can pick up someones old one on ebay. ____________________ Fuelly My Z1000SX

Older ones, factor in new down pipes
Even if it's been replaced by Kawasaki it will only go again. They just replaced like for like. My wifes ER6 has gone twice. It won't go again as a mate has welded it to the standard of a warped person (only better ) ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |
