You should take the pads out and leave them out. Means the pistons can grip the disk better Thumbs Up

A JiveBunny that is: brainless, stupid, child-like, and full of pointless information that makes no sense and appeals only to other cretins. They can be found in abundance in every single populated internet forum, where they race to post as many mind-numbing messages as possible in a single session. In addition, they seemingly interbreed with other cretins, ensuring that their cretinous genes continue long after they end up dead meaning the Internet will never be rid of their kind. More's the pity.

You should remove the front brake as well, as it's also surplus to your requirements.

p.s. 20 quid please

Just read the above thread.... very fitting I believe:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKnND2D31eI

Anyway... I wouldn't listen to all the advice here Jivebunny, I think you'll find that almost all of the nuts and bolts are too tight on your bike, if they are even hand tight... then that could be causing problems too

Are you sure you put the wheel on the right way round?.... not sure how effective my rear brake would be if it was pressing on the rear sprocket.

Tell you what... PM me your address and I'll come and laugh at your work if you want

So you left out a spacer... and are now asking why your bike isn't working properly, your rear brake has seized and there is white dust all over the rear brake?

I have the answer for you. It is very simple.

You're a moron.

Sadly although I can diagnose this condition I cannot provide you with a remedy, other than to suggest that you think carefully about why a bike manufacturer would put a spacer between the wheel and swinging arm of a motorcycle.

If I've misunderstood your original post then I apologise, but it seems pretty clear from where I'm sitting.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

The rear brake has not seized it still works the white dust is on the axle nut and where the spacer should be maybe the grease I used but it isn't anywhere near the calliper.

It's just rubbing on the disc.

I could not put the spacer back in where it should I spent two hours trying it just wouldn't fit end of.

You are kidding aren't you.... seriously... what drugs are you on?

Maybe try putting the spacer between the disc and brake pads... that might solve the gap at 1 side.

Also you are welcome to come to Chepstow and I'll still have a laugh.

Your back brake could seize if you carry on riding it like that.
Hospital food's pretty basic.
