Who knows?
If it was recorded or if a claim was made/insurance at the time were told or if you have got a quote since then declaring the accident then you should do so now.

If you crashed, made no claim, told nobody like insurance co then I'd not tell them now.

i did make a claim but dont see why it would need mentioning when bike and car insurance are completely seperate?

they wont accept bike no claims on car insurance so why should they take into account an accident?

Because if you wrote off 6 bikes in the last 5 years you would be a higher risk in a car due to fuckwittery, same as having had several theft claims, could mean you are lax with regard to security.

If you claimed and don't tell them they will say nothing, right up until that point you make a claim and they tell you to bog off as we've found this claim you didn't mention and we knew about all along.

you will be asked by the insurance to declare any incidents on a motorised vehicle, this covers scooters, bikes, cars, vans, lorries etc so you have to declare any and all of them.

Because fuck you, that's why.

Really, that is why.

They do want telling about it, and I'd expect they will find out about it just when you need their services.
