Seems like a good idea. Smile

Why people need 4x4s in town is beyond me. Most of them never se mud. I have to admit that the new Porche one does look cool. Slightly out of my price range though. Wink

The reason why people (well me) have a 4x4 is that I have 4 largish kids and they don't fit into anything small like an estate or normal car. The alternative is a people carrier and there is no way on this earth I would drive one of those ubiquitous, boring, unwieldy vehicles with its vague steering, poor brakes and miles of black plastic - they're horrible!

4 kids fine, the problem I have is when you constantly see the same 4x4's with mother and single child. Pisses me off no end.

quite frankly, that's rubbish. I drive a Passat estate for work, a colleague has a M-class Mercedes, I have much more room than him. the average 4x4 is much bigger on the outside than a 'normal' car with the same amount of room on the inside. The only way you'll get 4 big kids (i'm assuming 2 adults too) is in a huge car with three rows of seats, the sort of cars that aren't known for their sharp handling and great brakes. I'd trust the handling of a VW Sharan over a big Mitsubishi LWB anyday

Hi

I would say they have very few SUVs on the continent compared to here.

However be careful what you ask for. Those single occupants of the SUVs may just decide that they see no reason that bikes should be capable of going faster than a CG125 and vote to ban them.

All the best

Keith
