A friend of mine is buying a 400, not sure what bike exactly I think its a sports tourer kawasaki. Anyways, he has to have it restricted (for reasons) and get it legal so he can ride it. Whoever was restricting it said it would cost around £150 to do it, so I was wondering how EXACTLY is it being restricted, and how would you remove such a restriction?

I have no idea where the restrictor would be, I was hoping you lot could fill me in on it (cdi, exhaust, carb etc.)

Any ideas?

usally in the carbs they put washers in to restrict the flow of fuel/air mix to the engine, easily removed Laughing

oh yeah Smile

Thats good to know! Not likely to be something exceedingly complicated that will need specialist equipment to remove is it?

Redbaron, you may remember me. I came to look at your yellow NSR that time with my friend, I was wearing a big adidas shirt thing and there was that asian guy looking at it at the same time?

How did that go in the end (the sale)?
