 |
|
Does anybody use a breakdown & recovery service for their bike and if so are they worth the money?
I had a problem a month ago and had to get a garage to recover it, they had it for a month during which time they went out of business I finally got it back today. |

I'm on a family plan with GEM at about £120 a year. It covers 4 people in any vehicle. I have called them out twice. Once to fix a problem, once to be recovered ____________________ 2004 R1 & 2018 XSR900 |

im with https://www.sos-motorcycle-recovery.co.uk/
they actually are trained bike mechanics unlike AA or RAC who mostly know about cars and always send the wrong truck to you if you need recovering hence why i left AA and RAC ____________________ Elen sila lummen omentielvo! |

Auto Aid, £39 a year, self and spouse, any vehicle (some debate about 125cc and under bikes, but the actual contract doesn't prohibit them).
Then get phone numbers for whatever bike specific breakdown service you want, pay them whatever you need to up front by credit card, and get it reimbursed by Auto Aid later. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
