Hi,

Pulled my little gz out with the intention of a shake down around the block before MOT, and i eventually wheeled it back into my garage with the gear leaver totaly solid having not gone anywhere. The bike still runs, and revs as if it is in neutral, but the neutral light isn't on. I couldn't make the gear leaver budge. I open up the clutch housing and on inspection couldn't see anything imidiately wrong. Gave what was in fron of me a clean, put it back on, and still no joy. I only had limited time as had to be in work.

Is there a "usual" faul that would cause this. What should i investigate first?

Thanks in advance

Richard

And yes russ you busted me, i stole it from the interwebs. Will change to my own bike shot now, finally managed to get some non gloomy shots.

Well i fixed the problem, it's a rubbish pic, should have been more square on, but essentially there is a spring over the gear shaft that comes into the gearbox, which has two prongs coming off it to keep the gear paw in place, and one had jumped out of position.
