My baotian is now starting to annoy the **** out off me, I brought a brand new battery, alternator, voltage regulator, and a new lock set as i thought it could be the earthing in the ignition. It charges to about 13v, but as soon as I turn on the lights, which are correct 12v ones, the battery goes to 10 or 11v, I do have a cyclone alarm, if that would drain it like that, but it doesn't make any sense, please help me

Seriously. You're just pouring good money after bad, and you're doing it without any understanding of why. You might as well take it down to a garage, wail "Make it work, mister" and hand them a huge sack of cash.

Those things are made to be disposable, you should have bought two and then stripped one for parts.

Also, another failed Baotian is not in any way "news" to us.

Sell it to another chump, ride a pushbike until you're 17 and then get a 125.

At a minimum, disconnect the alarm. It's one fewer thing to diagnose, and anyone stealing it will be doing you a favour.

That's not a very good way to think of it, I have to ride 13 mile every morning and night, to and from work

I just need it working!

What I might do is follow every wire and clean the ends

But, I think I just figured it out, I took the bulbs out and looked at them, they say 12v 40/45w and mine are ament to be 12v 35/35w so I have just ordered some halogen bulbs now on there way, (blame the guy who owened the ped before me)

Thanks for your help people, will probably use this site again! Smile
