So my bike has felt particularly slow lately.

The bike seems to be hesitating, and finding it had to pick up the revs. It feels as though its in too high a gear, if that makes sense. It doesn't seem to happen all the time though (certain gears?) but when it does the bike just.feels.so.damn.slow, and like it is trying too hard to get a move on.

It is perfectly rideable though, and is by no means slow, but I ain't leaving cars for dust anymore, more like creeping away.

Any ideas.

Oh and it's a curvy SV

Check your carbs, air filter, spark plugs and fuel lines?

had that with my VF so put injector cleaner in the tank and it cleared up the problem ... mine is carbs by the way but I was told the injector cleaner and brake fluid both do a better job of clearing crap off carb surfaces .

might be worth checking your front HT cap, many on here have had trouble with water and crap getting in and rotting the cap and lead.

haven't you heard. Brake fluid is a wonderful cleaner. It's so good that it starts melting away all the tiny little plastic bits inside your carbs[/sarcasm]
